300.00

This new artist book by Susan Leen, Rinn Aun – The Place of the Tide, is inspired by the neighbourhood of Ringsend and its relationship with its maritime environment. Leen’s book uses letterpress haikus and linocut illustrations to portray the stories and memories of local inhabitants, collected through weeks of interviews.

The book is printed letterpress on the National Print Museum’s Vandercook No. 4 in a limited edition of 20 copies. The book, containing eight illustrated images and six haikus, is constructed in a concertina format and bound using traditional techniques. It is accompanied by an edition of prints.

The book is now available for pre-order, to be shipped at the beginning of December.
